Worldwide Women Self Defence Directory

This directory is to help women find a self defence course by location worldwide.

The WWSD directory was put together for organizations offering self defence classes specific to women, under the assumption that general self defence or martial arts classes are not the same as women's self defence. Our approach is that women's self defence has to make an attempt to include important auxilliary information as situational awareness, myths of sexual crimes, nature of sexual crimes, strategies of how to launch a physical defence, profile of would be sexual criminals and possible defensive strategies, etc., to name a few.

This is not to say that the purely 'tactical' or physical moves taught at schools not listed here will be of little help to women. It is but to merely provide information that will cater for women who are looking for specific course offerings in this area.
